Huawei launches ultra-chic lipstick earbuds

Although there are a gazillion different choices when it comes to earbuds, there are really not that many options when it comes to the way they look. Or so you thought. Meet the FreeBuds Lipstick earbuds by Huawei. The earphones that fit right into your makeup bag and complement your lips.

Earbuds but make it lipstick

We have to say these must be the most glamorous earbuds we’ve ever seen. The buds were created by Huawei’s Paris Aesthetics Research Center and, as you might have guessed, are inspired by high-end lipsticks. That means golden accents combined with a metallic black charging case. The deep red color of the earbuds finish things off in creating the lipstick look.

High-end look, high-resolution audio

Of course it doesn’t matter how good earbuds look if they can’t deliver the same level of audio quality. According to Huawei you don’t have to worry about that as the gadgets are “equipped for a superior, smarter audio experience”.

The earphones feature high-resolution sound thanks to the large 14.3 LCP dynamic driver. Each bud is also equipped with its own bass-enhancing power engine, because as you know it’s all about that bass. Then there’s the adaptive ear-matching technology to optimize the sound quality based on the shape of your ears. Add in active noise canceling, a sample rate of 48 kHz and AEM EQ adjustments with the accompanying app and you’re all set to go.

To add an extra touch of glam the Huawei FreeBuds Lipstick comes in a scented gift box to “recreate those beautifully romantic moments of your life and add that extra touch of pleasure”. You can get the lipstick earbuds through Huawei’s official site in select countries for around 260 USD. The price is an estimation as it depends on where you’re ordering from.
